Jumong Episode 2

The travelling merchants led by chief Yeon Ta Bal, chief of the GyehRuBu clan encountered General Hae Mo-su on a brook as he was drinking water from it.  Chief  Yeon Ta Bal thinking he was a fleeing refugee, offered him food and  took him as a member of his caravan.  General Hae Mo-su introduced himself as a refugee named Lee Gan-Sang.The chief's pregnant wife was then pregnant and about to anytime deliver their baby.  The baby was later to be So Seo No and chief   Yeon Ta Bal's daughter and the future queen of Jolbon and the second wife of King Jumong.

General Hae Mo-su learned during their conversation that the Ha-baek tribe was wiped out by the Han. He also learned that Lady Yoo Hwa was being brought to Hyeon-to-Goon city for public execution.  General Hae Mo-su get to the river where Lady Yoo Hwa saved him and ponder on the thoughts of their moments together.

Prince Geumwa after knowing what happened to Lady Yoo Hwa and her tribesmen, planned on rescuing her from the Han and snatched her from her captors on the trip going to Hyeon-to-Goon city. The prince who has fallen in love brought Lady Yoo Hwa later on to the Buyeo palace to recover.

The caravan of the travelling merchants led by chief Yeon Ta Bal headed to Hyeon-to-Goon city after the safe delivery of his wife.  They brought along Lee Gan-Sang as a porter of their goods.  However, chief Yeon Ta Bal thought of offering Lee Gan-Sang as a subject of a once in a lifetime opportunity deal with the Han ambassador in  Hyeon-to-Goon city knowing he was really General Hae Mo-su disguised as a refugee  Lee Gan-Sang.

While the wife of chief Yeon Ta Bal was on labor, the caravan was attacked by bandits.  General Hae Mo-su fight and drove all the bandits and save their lives.  Being their savior was what made  chief Yeon Ta Bal reconsider about dealing and handing over General Hae Mo-su to the Han.  Chief Yeon Ta Bal later revealed this fact to General Hae Mo-su when they arrived at Hyeon-to-Goon city and that that he was in the city to rescue Lady Yoo Hwa.  Chief Yeon Ta Bal told General Hae Mo-su  that he considered his not telling the Han about him as repayment for him saving their lives from the bandits and urged him to leave them since it will mean endangering them and the GyehRuBu clan.  General Hae Mo-su through information secured by Chief Yeon Ta Bal  later that Lady Yoo Hwa died on the way to Hyeon-to-Goon city.

Priestess Yeo Mi Eul talked and confronted Prince Geumwa about Lady Yoo Hwa telling him that she cannot be by her side.

General Hae Mo-su was able to return to the Damul army stockade and reunite with his friend Prince Geumwa.  In one of his visit to Buyeo palace, the prince excitedly introduced him to Lady Yoo Hwa. He knelt as son as he come face to face with the lady in remorse to what has happened to her clan.  But instead of hating him, Lady Yoo Hwa told him that she was not angry but wanted to only promise him revenge for her clan who died unjustly.

Prince Geumwa's wife, Crown Princess Wonhu grew jealous and inconvenient having Lady Yoo Hwa in the palace and tried to talk to her about her intentions  and offer to be a royal concubine to Prince Geumwa.

She later found out that Lady Yoo  Hwa was not in love with Prince Geumwa but with General Hae Mo-su instead.  She even told her willingness to be assigned in the stockade to help and serve the Damul army in order to avenge the death of her tribe.  Once Lady Yoo Hwa was assigned in the stockade, she and General Hae Mo-su grew more and more fond with each other.

Unable to express his love to Lady Yoo Hwa, Prince Geumwa find himself confiding his inner feelings to priestess Yeo Mi Eul.

King Hae Bu-ru reported in the Buyeo court that Wo Ju, Xing Ren and Gai Ma nations have joined their alliance in the war with Yan Na, Guan Na and Fei Lui nations unable to send troops to their alliance.
